Hello Miky,

We guarantee that there is no virus in the Graphite installer from our site (http://cdn.icenium.com/live/graphite/publish/setup.exe) and if avast really marks it as such, you can report it as mistake and temporary disable it in order to successfully install Graphite. You can also consider installing another free AV program like MSE.

Every time when I open the visual studio I am getting a message that AppBuilder updates are available. I am trying to run updates I am getting the message that updates cannot be installed and should try a download from Visual Studio Gallery.

I also tried to download the Icenium update from the site  https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/d486edc5-aae3-4ad9-84c1-578efc0a32ed and got the virus error message displaying on the page http://cdn.icenuem.com/live/vs/AppBuilder.vsix.

It is Gateway Anti-Virus Alert that Sality.AT_7 (Trojan) is blocked (see attachment).

How can I get AppBuilder Updated?

Thank you,

Eugene

Hello Eugene,

I am not sure how your firewall is configured but I can confirm that the Visual Studio extension installation is safe to download and it is not infected at all. Please contact your network administrators to enable downloading the file so you can install it on your machine.

If changing the configuration of the firewall is not an option for you, you can try using the In-Browser client of AppBuilder. There are 2 workflows you can follow to open your project inside the web client:

  • Configure your project for collaboration and clone it in the In-Browser client as described in this tutorial
  • Zip all project files and import them in the In-Browser client as described here

Don't hesitate to write back if your administrators (or you) have any concerns.
