Hi Forum,

For regulatory reason, I have to be able to install previous versions of all the tools I use to develop my software (reproduce the exact same dev environment for any version I generate), among them Open Access.
The Latest Version Acquisition Tool prevent me to install another version than the last one, by checking on the internet the current installation program, against the last one available on your side.
How can I prevent this to occur, and be able to install whatever version I whish to?

This thread "How to install the openaccess that is not the last version,I want the Oct 17,2012 Q3 version!" indicate the way to download former versions. I have former versions downloaded already, but they don't want to be installed!

Thanks for your response,

Antoine.

Hi Antoine,

Please note that you will not be able to install two different versions of OpenAccess on the same machine. To install an older version, please go to Windows' Control Panel -> Uninstall a program dialog and uninstall the version of OpenAccess ORM that you currently have.
Then you should be able to install the msi file with the older version of the product.
Please let us know if you are not able to perform this procedure or need further assistance.

Kind regards,
