The title may sound strange but the sysadmin at my company asked me to inquire about alternative installation methods of Icenium Graphite.

What it comes down to is this: We install all our Programs in an alternate Directory (namely: D:\Programs) to make them available to whoever is logged in on the computer and this is simply not possible with the current installer (As it installs to the AppData Directory).

Is there an alternative installer method that you could provide?

Hi Jonathan,

Icenium Graphite is a ClickOnce app, which is meant for installing an application for a single user without administrative rights. What you want to accomplish cannot be done at this time, for more information refer to Installing a ClickOnce Application for all users blog post.

Hi Steve,

that's too bad but anyway thanks for the quick response.
Still, I will post this suggestion on the Feedback Portal to see if other people have the same problem.

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

Feel free to post this as suggestion in our feedback portal, however it is highly unlikely we would stop using ClickOnce for our Windows Client IDE, because of the reasons outlined in the blog I referenced.
