I have VS2010 beta2 and silverlight 4 tool in my windows XP machine.
When I install the Silverlight Q1 2010 , it showed the following error message
"An error occurred while writing installation information to disk. Check to make sure enough disk space is available, and click Retry, or Cancel to end the install."
But My C driver have 37 G free space.
Please guide me to overcome the error.

Such errors usually occur on virtual machines when Windows Installer cannot correctly determine the available space. Running the installer several times might fix the problem. Another possible solution is to run the installer using the command prompt with the following command:
msiexec /i setupFileName.msihope this helps.
