Hi,

So I've generated a test... it has 55 steps so far. Then I realized that I need to do some other steps back on say step 20 for example. It would be nice to be able to put the test explorer into 'insert' mode on the test step highlighted, otherwise the sequence of tests default to the bottom, then I have to move the steps up one by one, etc... you get the picture. Is there a simpler way of doing this?

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce -

The Test Explorer supports Drag/Drop. You can drag that step, hold it toward the top of the Test Explorer and it will scroll on its own. Once you reach the spot you want to insert it, Simply drop it.

I do agree though, it would be nice to have a maybe a "Move To" action on the context menu.

Hi Faris,

Ok, I'll give that a try. I still like my idea of having a toolbar checkbox in the Test Explorer that allows the user to insert after the currently selected row. Another possiblity would be to allow the editing of the test step... change the test step from 44 to 23, everything after 23 gets bumped down.

Thanks,
Bruce
