Hi,
I am trying to get the Telerik Grid to initially sort numeric columns in descending order, so if the user has sorted by a column displaying a string, the changes the sort to sort by a numeric field, the initial sort will be descending, not ascending. Is this possible?

Hi Cliff,
You can use SortDescriptors in your RadGridView in order to achieve the desired result as shown in the attached example. Also I would suggest you to review our Custom Sorting topic in our online documentation library.
