[Solved] Infinite scrolling in DataGrid

Hi, 

Is it possible to load data after scrolling grid to bottom, in case when we have big amount of data? 
Do you have any sample?

Thank you for contacting us and for your question.

Currently RadDataGrid does not support incremental loading but we have this feature in our product backlog and will implement it in the near future. Nevertheless, the component is highly optimized and is capable of processing hundreds of thousands of records without user experience penalties.

Our plans are to support the ISupportIncrementalLoading contract, provided by the Windows Runtime. What is your opinion - will such integration suit your scenario?

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately  I cannot use grid in our solution without incremental loading. Anyway I agree that component is written very optimized .

Any update on this? I'd like to bind the DataGrid to a MobileServiceIncrementalLoadingCollection (Azure Mobile Services) so that data can be pulled down from the server lazily, but obviously this requires DataGrid to support ISupportIncrementalLoading...

Yes, currently our development team is working on this matter and we will do our best to implement incremental loading for our official service pack release around the second half of July.

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for using RadControls for Windows 8.

This feature will be released with the Q3 2013 official release around mid-October as the required effort proved to be more time consuming than initially anticipated.
