I'm a bit curious about if there's any approach to do this:

I would like to have for example two columns in a grid being both of them a toggle row details column.
What I would like is, if I click on the first column show a row details template for example having a tabcontrol, and leave the other column that is too a toggle row details column with the expander closed.
And if I click on the second column, leave the first one with the expander closed and show a completely different row detail template having for example a htmlplaceholder.

 I believe that you can load different detail template conditionally using our RowDetailsTemplateSelector:
