Is it possible to import data from either Excel Spreadsheets or CSV files into the Data Tab of a Recording? If so, how can this be accomplished?

Yes, this is possible, and I would like to refer you to this video about data driving a test from an outside source: http://www.artoftest.com/community/datadriven/datadrive-test.aspx
The procedure should be the same as the video, except you would select CSV file instead of the Database option.
