I have an application that is built using the MV-VM pattern for WPF/SL and I want to be able to control the upload control using my own UI (the view) - is it possible to use the RadUpload control in a completely lookless way. I am not talking about editing the control's template but rather using the control as an upload component that has no ui.

For me to implement MV-VM - I need to separate the UI (view) completely from the ViewModel

Is this possible with the upload control? I think it is but I cannot figure out how to initiate the browse for files dialog or how to pass a fileinfo object to radupload.

thanks
Michael

Does anyone from Telerik have input on this? I am evaluating the use of Telerik controls for a project with my client.

thanks

Hello Michael Iantosca,

Thank you for the nice idea about RadUpload.

We think RadUpload is very close to the scenario you described and we will do our best to include it in the forthcoming release.

Kind regards,
