I have priority column with inetger values. If user selects a row and drag it to top then this priorty column value for this row shoudl become 1 and before drag teh top row value shoudl become 2 and follwing rows value changed by +1. Can you pelase help me with this.

In the online code grivdiew itemsource is IList sow e can insert at specific idnex, but here in my case I ahev gridview itemsource as entityset and using that i cna only add enitty but not at specific index on drop event. Can you please help me with this. how can I reorder row suing entity framework and in MVVM pattern.

Hi Shweta,

Indeed you can add the new entity with the index desired. Then to place it at the exact position it belongs, you may just sort RadGridView by that index.
