Hi,

we have a problem with the HtmlDataProvider and lists.
Creating a list item in Richtextbox with linebreaks creates a correct indention (Screenshot correctIndention). Export settings are
  DocumentExportLevel="Fragment"
  ExportStyleMetadata="False"
  StyleRepositoryExportMode="DontExportStyles"
  StylesExportMode="Inline"
Exporting it to HTML and reimporting it removes the indention (Screenshot indentionRemoved).
This is caused by a hard setting of text-indent: 0px for the paragraph representing the item.

Is there any way of fixing this behavior?

Hello Florian,

 Thank you for contacting us about this issue.

RadRichTextBox is designed to be more like word processor rather than html editor. In word editor there is more indentation available to the paragraphs then there is in the HTML format. This is the reason why we try to combine the available indentation from the HTML format in a way most suitable for the exported content. In some rare cases the indentation is not recovered at fill percentage when the exported html is imported again. The described issue is one of those cases. I am afraid that for your particular case there is no available workaround.

However I will logged this issue in our feedback portal, where you can track the progress of the issue. Here is the link.

Please excuse us for the inconvenience.
