I have a requirement to write the value "#N/A" but as an error not the text.

I tried to use SetCell with value "#N/A" but it seems that excel will not recognize this cell as an error because when the file is opened with an excel in another language the value remains "#N/A" (In German for instance the value should be converted to "#NV")

Hello Dan,

Thank you for the feedback.

I am afraid that such functionality is not in our roadmap and we have no plans for its implementation. I possible option could be to check the CultureInfo on the specific machine and use it to switch case the most common languages. You can check this article on the topic: How to get current regional settings in C#?

I hope you find this information helpful. Please, let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

Regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately the option with the culture is not valid because the file is generated on an English server and there is no way of knowing if the user has German excel or not. I will have to see if the customer agrees that the user should provide this information.
