I'm adding a tiled layer to the map which works well except for the annoying fade in. Is there a way to turn this off so it will just 'appear' rather than have this initial large blurred fade in. It's neat at first but gets annoying fast.

Hi Randall Anderson,
We are using standard Silverlight MultiScaleImage control to show map tiles. Your issue is referred to its internal functionality which we can't control in anyway.
