[Solved] how to show a pdf document inside Windows 8 store apps using Telerik Dlls.

   i have a doubt that. is there any native Telerik Controls  in to show a PDF files, which supports in Windows 8 store apps.??



   if not  there any idea how to implement it in apps.??

Hi Umapathi,

Currently, our suite do not offer pdf viewer. We have some ideas for adding such control, however it can be expected in the near future.

Hi Umapathi,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Currently we do not have plans to add fully-blown RadRichTextBox to our Win8 suite. You can consider the WinRT RichTextBlock component, which is pretty descent and exposes rich functionality.

We do not see added value for the suite to have our own RadButton implementation having in mind the WinRT Button component, which does its job perfectly. Do you have any particular reason of requesting such a control?

Does your answer mean that you may introduce a RadPDF for Windows Store apps? And if so can we expect it byQ4 of this year or Q1 of next year? Other controls people have tried but have not delivered although there is one library currently in Beta. I've used it and it does work, however it is not as reasonable as far as cost as your suite approach.

         Thanks for your reply..we have  already tried this one..but  my requirement is we want to edit the pdf by adding notes,Highlighting the selected texts & save it for a particular text.,The problem with  Foxit sdk. they are showing the pdf files as a image files & adding notes in any part of the PDF & Selecting a text using their own calculations..We have found their Sample, tried that,& Came out with these concerns..Did you tried using this SDK to create this type of PDF inside a Windows Store apps.??  Can you provide a clear idea of implementation of the PDF inside a WindowsStore apps with these facilities..?
