Simple question, how do I set the default sorting direction for individual columns in the grid?
For some columns ascending direction is fine, for others it is annoying to have to click twice to get descending.
Any easy switch/setting?

Is there an answer for this? I too want to set a default sort that's descending

Currently this is not possible. The grid always sorts in ascending order first. You can however display the grid initially sorted - check the sorting example for a rerefrence.

Thanks! That worked. That sample BTW is for a default descending sort
