The functionality is not available for the SegmentedControl. However, a good alternative is the RadTabView, where you have full control of the headers and you can set different ControlTemplates. You can find more information on how to achieve the behavior in the RadTabView at the following article - TabViewHeaderItem. There is also an actual example in the SDK Samples Browser application(the solution can be found in your local Telerik UI for Xamarin installation, in the Examples/XamarinForms folder). It is labeled TabViewHeaderCustomTemplateExample.
