Hi,
We have a web page wherein there is a search option. On click of this search button, there is a pop up window opening. On successful completion of the search, result should be posted back to the 1st page from where we clicked "Search" button. This is working fine on a normal browser but while recording the search window is not returning any data into the 1st screen.
Kindly provide the tips to perform recording in the search window (popup window).

Hi Venkat,
So does this happen when you record in the stand alone remote recording browser? Here is a video on how to record tests in that manner. Launching popups will also work similarly to launching them from the Visual Studio embedded recorder.
If this does not solve the problem, could you please post back with code examples of your main page and popup page, and also how exactly you are doing the post back (Javascript or what ever method you are using). We'd like to try this out and see if we can come up with a work around if needed.
