Hi Suma,

There are a few things that you need to do.

For development and testing on device only:

1. Create and install your certificate and provisioning profile for development or for Ad Hoc distribution. You need to follow this tutorial or this tutorial to accomplish this task. Please, note that the CSR must be created and completed in Icenium, the certificate and the provisioning profile must match, and your testing device must be included in the provisioning profile.
2. Issue a build and deploy on device. You can run your app on a remote device (via QR code) or on a connected device (in Graphite). You can learn more about this here.

For publishing in the App Store only:

1. Create and install your certificate and provisioning profile for App Store distribution. You need to follow this tutorial to accomplish this task. Please, note that the CSR must be created and completed in Icenium, the certificate and the provisioning profile must match, and both the certificate and provisioning profile must be for App Store distribution.
2. Build your app for publishing and use Graphite to publish your IPA package to the App Store. You can learn more about this here. Please, pay special attention to the details related to iTunes Connect. Also, note that you cannot install an IPA that was built for the App Store on device without publishing and downloading it from the App Store first.

Hope this helps.

Hi Suma,

The short answer to your question is no, you cannot generate an IPA in Icenium without an Apple ID.

Here's the more detailed explanation:
To generate and code sign the IPA in Icenium, you need a certificate and provisioning profile from the iOS Developer Program. To get those, you need to register an Apple ID in the Developer Program. The Apple ID is used to access Apple services, including but not limited to App Store.

You can read more about  Apple IDs and the iOS Developer program.

Alternatively, for testing purposes, you can deploy your applications in Icenium Ion. To deploy in Ion, you do not need certificates, provisioning profiles, or Apple ID. However, this is a testing and not a distribution utility and you cannot publish your app in or from Ion. For more information, how to test an iOS app in Ion, visit this section in the Icenium documentation.
