Hello,

I'm not sure if it's possible but I would like to make a specified range within a series stand out different from the rest of the series.

I have a chart showing old and new data combined in one chart, however I would like to differentiate them in some way to make it obvious where the new data starts and ends (Note it may be in the middle). In the best situation I would like to change the line thickness (line series) or border thickness (bar series).

Is it possible to do this or if not is there any other way I might show which data is new?

Hi Brendan,

This is not supported out of the box. What you could do in your case is creating another series to show your new data. This series will overlap the first one and depending on the series items it will overlap the first series items. You can control what items to show by setting some of the values to null, which will result in not drawing them on the chart.

I've attached a sample project showing how to achieve the above approach.

Alternatively you could use custom item style. More about it can be found in our help topic here:

Hope this helps. If not, a screenshot showing your expected result would help us in giving you better solution.

Thanks for the feedback, I think the custom item style might work for me.
