Is there a way to obtain source code/design files for this project. I would like to recreate this in Kendo UI or Metro HTML/XAML

Hello,

The whitepaper you mentioned is intended to show the design side of a windows phone -> windows 8 app migration. It does not discuss specific code implementations of the design patterns.

We offer code for a Windows Phone app that is similar to the one described in the whitepaper. To get it, go to

If you want to develop HTML/XAML Windows 8 applications, then you can also get a beta version of our Windows 8 suite from our free trials download page - http://www.telerik.com/download.aspx

You can also see demos of our HTML/XAML controls by downloading an app from the Windows Store - just search for Telerik.

I would like to also add my request to download the code from the whitepaper.  I used your phone app originally and it REALLY helped jump start my phone development.  I was hoping for the same with the Win8 app.

The WP7 to Windows 8 White Paper describes the process of migrating the Telerik Tasks application for WP7 to Windows 8. While at this point we cannot provide you the source code of the project, you can expect to have the new Tasks for Windows 8 app available for download from the Win8 Store soon.

Hopefully you can provide the source code. I don't see a reason for not providing it if you did the same for Win7.
Is this an internal project or done by some third party? I would really like to see this in my VS 2012 IDE.

Does that mean it will be available publicly? (to demonstrate Telerik Metro/Win8 controls)?
I supponse it will be based on the published article's workflow/design.
I would be very interested in the source code. Please make it public.
