It seems I need to build using Visual Studio on Mac to get Apple to accept my app. But now Telerik is showing I only have a trial license. I have a Telerik Xamarin UI license, but have no idea what to do on a mac to remove the "Telerik trial" message from my app. Google search does not return any helpful advice.

thanks

Hi Gerry,

UI for Xamarin doesn't use a product key system. Instead, we provide two sets of assemblies; trial and licensed. If you've recently purchased UI for Xamarin, download the licensed assemblies/product from the UI for Xamarin downloads page, then recompile the app using the licensed assemblies and the trial message will go away.

When you go to the downloads page, you'll see a License drop down. Once you have a license for that specific product, "Purchased" will be the default selection. Here's a screenshot of that drop down:

Licensed User

I see that your account doesn't yet have a license, however it is not uncommon for a company to make the purchase.  We made this simple and easy to fix, the company can make you  the Licensed User so that you can download the licensed assemblies.

It only take about 20 seconds to do this, have the license owner follow these steps:

1 - Go to the Manage Licensed Users portal
2 - Unassign the company from the license (they will remain the owner and can reassign at any time)
3 - Assign you as the Licensed User using your email address.

At this point, you'll see the paid assemblies available for download from the UI for Xamarin downloads page. Additionally, you'll be provided with the Support License associated with that license and can open Support Tickets.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
