How to Edit Labels of the charts and Highlight associated peak?

Hi,

 

  I am really appreciated with the wide array of controls provided by Telerik for Silverlight . However, I am keen to look into charts controls with the following requirement.

 

Requirement:   

(All these queries are related to the line charts/Graphs.)

 

• Label Editing   - I have to edit the Labels on charts in place on the fly. For example-  if there is a label on x-axis with value = “January”, I want to replace the same its content to anything =”Requirement 1”. Can we achieve the same by either giving a pop-up or editing in-place ?
• Label placement – It is not necessary that all the peaks in the graph should have the associated labels on X-Axis. Can we achieve the same.
• Peak Highlilghting – I have to highlight the particular peak when we click inside the peak or inside the associated label. Means, the respective area inside the clicked peak should be filled with some background / foreground color.

To your questions:
Currently RadChart doesn't support trend lines and neither of your requirements can be done out-of-the-box.
What is closer to what you want to achieve are our CustomGridLines. You can add Label for your Annotation (GridLine) as shown in this help topic.
