I have used  datetimepicker in my application. When validation for datetimepicker fails that time it is showing RedBorder around the whole rectangle of DateTimePicker, but because of this when user clicks on right corner of this rectangle calender doesn't gets opened.
To avoid this issue I want to reduce the BorderThickness so that even after click on right corner a calender can open to select date and time. I have tried with Blend but I am not getting any proper solution to reduce the borderthickness.

So can anyone help me on this issue??

Hello Priyanka,

What you need to customize is actually the ValidationTooltip control.
If you are unable to generate it right ahead, drag a ValidationTooltip dummy control from the Assets, generate its style, then delete the dummy control and use the generated style to apply your modifications.

I hope this helps.
