Hello,
I am using Android Studio 1.3.1. I want to build the example from source.
However i try (either import or open), Android Studio advices to migrate the examples project to Gradle. How do I that? The import wizard does not work, because gradle files are missing.
I love the UI for Android components, and i use them very often, but I find it very annoying that it is not possible to build the examples from source. The guide is completely outdated on that topic :(
Any tutorial how to build examples from source?

I have to agree that there is some missing information in both the getting started page and in the examples solution that we have provided with the last release.
We have a planned update later this week for both UI for Android and its documentation where these will be resolved.
I will post an update here, when they are both live.

Just wanted to let you know that we have released an updated version of Telerik UI for Android (Version: 2015.3.1113), which you can download from our site.
With the updated version you should be able to open the examples project from the downloaded archive as shown in the Getting Started for Android Studio article.

Before you can build an app, you need to set up your development environment:
Download and install Android Studio.
Launch Android Studio.
From the Quick Start menu on the welcome screen, select Configure > SDK Manager. ...
In Android SDK Manager, select the following items and then click Install packages:

Then you can proceed with Getting Started for Telerik UI for Android.
