It would be great for the next major release to start adding some fancy animations to the controls. Take a look at the following site and see when you change tab page how the animation works. HTC.Com

Actually, if you spend some time looking at different phone models, you'll see they use pretty sleek animation in different models like how their Carousel works.

Just some ideas!

Thanks for the ideas. We are still trying to find our way for the slick animations support. We need to build animations that are slick and easy to use/modify. So far we have only found a solution for programmatic animations, but we need to have the declarative syntax for building animations. That said - I'm not sure that we will have any significant improvement in Q1 regarding our support for animations. But this is definitely on our radar and as soon as we get more support from the framework we will add animations in the controls.
