Hi,
Requirement of our co. is basically developing an app in teleik SL controls.And so naturally we are looking for Telerik WebUI Test Studio to automate this app.
Now,I was testing WebUI studio against your demo pages at http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/mytweets/ as well as http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/salesdashboard/
I was shocked to find that Hover over highlighting does not work on your demo pages.
Please help me out in finding the reason behind this issue.Because as long as this feature does not work-the verification will not work.
OS:Windows XP SP3
Browser:IE8
WebUI Studio version:2009.3.1210

Hi,
Just wanted to add a few more things related to my above post:-
1.If I use DOM explorer to lock on to elements,then Telerik translators related Quick Tasks kick in
I was under the impression that the lock on surface kicks in automatically once the green icon is clicked on (green icon is for hover over highlighting)
2.The issue denoted in above post is for both scenarios- WebUI Recorder as well as IE recording option.
Please do look into this issue.

Hi Ketan,
I'm sorry to hear you ran into this problem. Unfortunately, I could not reproduce the highlight problem or locking on problem on the demo pages you listed with the specific Windows system description you mentioned.
Are you seeing the 'Detected Silverlight Configuring..." dialog when loading either demo page? There is a 'Reconfigure Recorder' button (the button with 2 green arrows pointing to each other) in the embedded browser you can try to click on to refresh the highlight translators. You can also try refreshing the page to see if you get the 'Detected Silverlight Configuring..." dialog and the highlight translators.
Also, when locking on from the Dom Explorer Window, were you not seeing the Elements Menu and at least a pulsating red rectangle higlight over the element in question?
