Is there a way to orient the Silverlight Candlestick chart horizontally?
Also, I'd like to bind the Open/Close values to DateTime properties so I can show a range of time using the Candlestick.
Is this possible?

Hello Josh,
RadChart's Candlestick type was not designed to be used Horizontally so we do not support Horizontal Candlestick. Could you tell us more about the scenario where you need this type of Chart so
that we will be able to give you the proper advice?
To your second question - you can show the CandleStick chart with DateTime values on XAxis. Let us know if you need help with this.

Hello Evgenia,
I am trying to build something like a simplified Gantt chart.
I would like to show a series of projects on the Y-axis and time on the X-axis. By setting the start and end date for each project, it would graph it like the attached image.
I was hoping I could achieve this with a horizontal candlestick. Any other suggestions for this? Can this be achieved with a horizontal bar chart where the min and max values could be set?

Hi Josh,
At present, this functionality is not available. The good news is that we are presently working on a horizontal range bar series. This will be available soon. Attached to this message, is a screenshot demonstrating the layout.
