Hitting spacebar selects/deselects current item

When you hit the spacebar, the current item selects/deselects.  This causes issues with our editing.  Is there any way to turn this off?

Hi Jarred Froman,

We are currently working on resolving this issue. We'll do our best to have this fixed for some the upcoming internal builds. It is partially fixed with the last internal build (0322) but won't work if you have checkboxes defined, or if you have textboxes in the Headers of the RadTreeViewItems.

Is there a workaround we can use in the meantime?  We are getting ready to launch and we can't do so with this behavior.  I tried intercepting the keydown event on both the treeview and on the actual item itself, but to no avail.  While we aren't using checkboxes, we are using a custom item template which contains a textbox.

I'm deeply sorry about the newly introduced bug. Please take our apologies for the inconvenience. We will fix the behaviour as soon as possible, probably with our next internal build in the beginning of the next week.

Unfortunately we could not provide a work around. If you can not wait until the next week, let us know and we will try to provide you a custom build. If your schedule is too tight the last option is to revert back to previous official release.
