Hi,
We have a requirement to support the Hijri Calendars in our Silverlight applications. We noticed that the dates represented in the Hijri Calendar is actually the Gregorian date. Please refer to the attached image. The Gregorian date is 17th but Hijri is actually 19th. Basically, the Telerik calendar still displays the Gregorian date (17th) when the Hijri culture is applied. Is there a way to resolve this problem?
Regards,
Padman

Hello Padman,
Hijri calendar is not supported by RadControls for Silverlight. We have added this issue in PITS. You can view it here. You can vote for it, track its status and see when it is going to be implemented.
All the best,

Waste of time!!!
This issue is pending for many years and Telerik could not implement till now.
I dont think I can wait for next 20 years

Hello Mak,
We have already planned our tasks for Q1 2012 and I cannot give you a certain timeframe when this feature will be available. We are aware of the demand, and we will do our best to include it in the development plans for the next Q.
Meanwhile, you can track the PITS item, where it will be marked if the development has been started.
Hope this information is useful.
