Hi. I'm using the trial. I'm still getting used to the features, but I like it so far. One problem I've been having is that  often when I hit Alt-Enter to view the Fix... dropdown, the dropdown is completely empty. See the attached picture. If I can click on the little "F" it actually allows me to do what I want. However, I'd prefer to use the keyboard.

Thanks-

Dave Nichol

Hello David,

Sorry for the late response. We're aware of this issue, but it's a bit evasive here in our test environment. Do you have any other observataions about that, like how often it happens, or is there a sequence of actions that leads to that state? Are you using JustCode on a virtual machine or through some remote desktop? Any detail on the forementioned questions will be of great help in our attempts to pin that issue down. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the response.

I'm not using through Remote Desktop or a VM. It's on my work laptop. I generally have multiple Visual Studio instances open, but I don't know of any sequence of actions that leads to this state. It's actually been in this state on my laptop for some time, which severely limits JustCode's usefulness.

I don't know if this is helpful to know, but it is common for me to put my laptop in sleep or hibernate mode, and then wake it up to continue working.

I just restarted all my Visual Studio instances and it seems to be fixed for now, though I believe I did this earlier and it didn't help.

Thanks-

Dave

Hi David,

Restart of VS solves the problem, indeed.... Or at least until the next time it happens.
Our observations are that the popup menus (WPF based) don't get redrawn properly in cases like the ones we've mentioned here in this thread (resume from sleep/hibernate, work through RD or on a VM). We'll try do dig deeper into that as the issue seems quite annoying. Until a proper fix is found, restart of VS is the only workaround there.
Thanks for sharing your experience on that one.
