Hi,

just a notice (not action required).
I set up a windows 7 x64 (german) machine with english VS 2008.
Installing the telerik controls I got:
AJAX - no toolbox items / help merged
WPF - no toolbox items / help merged (by the way help title is still "silverlight...." :)
Silverlight - no toolbox items / help NOT merged

The last thing is the point I want to inform you about - I don't know the reason for this (in AJAX and WPF it works).
Fix: just run the batch file from telerik SL folder - works without problems.

Regards
Manfred

Hi,

same Problem here.
Win7 x64 German and VS2008SP1, too. I have the problem on both of my machines.

Starting documentation results in an error of Microsoft Document Explorer:
"ms-help://telerik.windows.controls.silverlight" is invalid

Hi Stefan Handke,

Actually, the Silverlight controls cannot be automatically installed in the VS ToolBox. This is a limitation right now. We working in this direction. For the rest of the controls - I suggest that you try to rest the toolbox and let us know how this goes.

As for the "not merged help" problem - we could not reproduce this problem at our side. Could you please send the help log file to us. It is located at  RadControlsInstallationFolder\Documentation\H2Reg_Log.txt. You can zip the file and attach it to a new support thread.

Thanks for your time and cooperation.

All the best,
Nick

Hi,
I could send you the file - but it won't help.
The content is from the successful "manual" installation done by calling the batch file.

It looks as if for some reasons (maybe access problems in Win7) the setup didn't call the merge.
