I don't seem to be able to get the Gridview to auto-size by height and fill a silverlight grid control automatically. Have tried different options. I'll post some code with some examples but just thought I'd check if there were any issues

Thanks

Hi Vlad

I can run this project but for some reason when I edit it and try and run it seems to be running a cached version and don't seem to be able to re-test with some new code changes - not sure what is happening. I'm trying to do similar but with a header row, content row (containing the datagridview) and a footer row. Wanted to be able to have the datagridview fit in the content row (with vertical scrolling) and re-size as the page re-sizes. I don't know if my issue is that I am populating the grid after it is initialised and so it is keeping height of when it was initialised and not re-sizing. I'm struggling to get a test version to show as the current example as I have it built into a larger app. I'll try and knock up a sample app from what you have sent.

Thanks

Hi Vlad

I've just created a new project from your code and with a header, content and footer and it works fine. It's obviously something I must have done wrong with sizing/positing in my larger application where I have different usercontrols and grids all embedded into the page. I will do some reading up to refresh myself on the auto and * settings as I've probably got them set-up wrong somewhere. Thanks for your help as has pointed me in the right direction.
