Hello,

Is it possible to have a control spanning through several pages ?
Just like the treeview from the firstlook sample, could it extend on the second page ?
I tried adding more nodes and it began to scroll, very badly.
Putting a second treeview on next page doesn't give a very satisfying look.

It seems commun to have a table of content taking more than one page.

Thanks for help

Hello Christian,

Thank you for your feature request. Currently this functionality is not available. However, when we do our features planning we will definitely take your inquiry into consideration. Since this is RadBook's first version, I'd like to ask if you have other feature requests you'd like to see implemented.

Greetings,

Kiril,

I tried to include an HTMLContentPlaceholder and it is not working very well, the new iframe being always on the book with scrollers, even when we turn pages. Today it is unusable.

I will have to use a RadGrid, so I hope it works.

Gobally, being able to include all RadControls in pages should be perfect and for variable/dynamic heigth controls we should control their spawning on next pages.

Best regards

Hello Christian Surieux,

Unfortunately there is a techincal limitation and the HtmlPlaceholder that can't be addressed currently. If you want to use it you should hide the HtmlPlaceholder during the page transitions. Please check here the RadBook events which you can use:

Ok, but something seems missing to include easilly existing html into Silverlight.

Hi Christian Surieux,

Yes - SL is not playing very well with pluggin HTML into the application. The main problem is that the existing solutions are rendering the html above the whole SL application and thus making them out of the SL layout system.

This will be somewhat improved with SL4 where there is added a HtmlBrush control which can be transformed, but this will work only in out of browser scenarios.

Kind regards,
