Hello

I've been experiencing with the RadGridSettings, and I was wondering, when you load or save a group settings, is there any way that you can also save and load which group(s) were open the last time ?

Hi,

I've attached an example to illustrate you how to achieve this.

Kind regards,

I had to modify it a bit to suit my needs better, but it works fine when there is one groupdesriptors, thanks.

Is there a way to also make it work when there is two group descriptors active and the open group is on the second level ?

I'm back with another serious problem, which I think is related to how the isolatedstorage file works

I'll explain : In my scenario, I have several grids, which have all the same name, so I put a tag on it and pass this tag to the isolatedstorage to have different files for each grid.

It saves fine, but when I try to load the settings, firefox and IE crash unexpectedly, and I can't figure out how.

Second thing I tried is to give up the isolated storage file and use the datacontract serializer to make a string (with a memorystream) and store this string in database, so far, so good.

But when I try to deserialize it, it tells me that the root element is missing and an exception is raised.

Does anyone might have any thought to perform either of these scenarios ?

regards
