[Solved] Grouping in Silverlight RadGridView

With the default grouping property of the gridview , I can group the records of the grid based on columns, However I also need to display the number of records beside each of the groups.. Is it possible..?

Thank you so much.. It helped me a lot...  
Is there any way to align the  each of group headers and count such that it appears like table... 
Also is there any way to do the same with the default grouping property of the grid i.e., by dragging the and dropping the column headers..?

Hello Ramyashree,

You may define a CountFunction to a particular column and to the GroupDescriptor itself. Another approach would be to define a ColumnGroupDescriptor in the code-behind and still have the CountFunction defined for a column. I am sending you a sample project illustrating the proposed solutions.
As far as the aligning of the aggregates is concerned, for the time being there is no out-of-the-box solution. However, it has been included in our to-do list and you may vote for it here. What you may do is to predefine some of the grid's templates as demonstrated in the sample project in this forum thread.
