Hi,

i have a problem with the telerik GroupBox. When i place a GroupBox in a childwindow, the border is over the header.
That problem only appears on childwindows. Is there any fix?

Greetings

Hello,

I have the same problem at the moment in our business application project. The development is very urgent and we aren't interested in reimplementing a similar GroupBox by ourself so I'm very interested in a possible workaround. Is there any?

Kind regards
Thomas

Hello,

Using RadWindow is available workaround since it has the functionality of the ChildWindow. And the GroupBox works fine in RadWindows. We will investigate the issue and try to fix it for one of the upcoming internal builds but I can not give an estimate at the moment. I believe the issue is very irritating and I am really sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

Dear Telerik Team,

Thanks for the possible workaround but unfortunately the behaviour of the RadWindow is completeley diferent to ChildWindow and we aren't able to assign any custom style because it doesn't work anyway. So the modification of the new RadWindow would be quite more difficult as the painting issue of the GroupBox. Is there maybe a more easier way to avoid this painting problem? Maybe you could show a way to create an own GroupBox by inherit from HeaderedContentControl or another base class?

Kind regards

Hello Thomas,

We have found the problem and fix for it will be released in the next internal build. TransformToVisual used to create a funky transform matrix when used inside the ChildWindow that would create wrong clip geometry.

All the best,
