Is there any way to group by a part or converted value of a column?
Ex: When a user drags Last Name to the Group Panel it groups by the 1st Character of the Last Name or
Group By the Date portion of a DateTime column but show the Date and Time in the actual grid
In another product we are evaluating you can apply a GroupConverter, do you support anything like that?
Using a trial version of the Latest Internal Build.

Hi Heather,
We currently did not support this scenario out of the box. We are probably going to support this for our 2009 Q3 version. Meanwhile what you can do is to create a simple view model that expose the required functionality as a property. This way the grid will be able to correctly group by it.
