[Solved] Group by - is there any way we can remove the steps (click to see the results when multiple group by columns).

Hi,

Is there any way so that ic an show grouping by mulitple columns in one level instead of different level. If gridView has three columns :-col1, col2 and col3. And i group by col1 and col2. Then in gridview first level it wil eb grouped by col1 nad then second Level click it wil be groupde dby col2 and then i see data . Can instead of showing grouping of diff col in idff rows can we do it in single level.

Using this information,  we can investigate how this can be achieved with the current implementation of RadGridView.

Hi Vanya,

Please find attached file with radgridview control. In file i have grouped by two columns "Form Name" and "Description" . Now to View first set of data first i need to click "Frm2" and then click "Desc1" . Is there any way we can avoid this click steps and view data at first click only.

However, considering the current implementation of RadGridView and its template structure, this structure cannot be achieved.
