[Solved] Group By Expressions?

According to the issue logged here this has been resolved:

However, I can't see this feature in the demo's, or in the release notes or in the intellisense when trying to code. Does anybody know if this has actually been implemented and if so in what version? A code sample would also be very handy.

Thanks for your prompt answer. I looked at the samples and they will work in most cases, but I am using column templates and there is no ClientGroupHeaderTemplate or GroupHeaderTemplate properties on a template column and I can't achieve what I need with a straight bound column. Is there any way to specify a group header template in this way?

Hi Craig Gibbons,

 I'm afraid that you cannot group by template column and this is the reason for not having ClientGroupHeaderTemplate nor GroupHeaderTemplate available. However, you may consider using a bound column instead as it have also the templating functionality of a template column.
