GridViewDataColumn and the ToolTipTemplateSelector

I am using the ToolTipTemplateSelector with a GridViewDataColumn. The tooltip displays fine when I first navigate to my page. After editing the cell the tooltip no longer displays.

This is actually shown quite well in the ToolTipSelector sample.

If you hover over one of the unit prices, the tooltip displays. After editing a unit price the tooltip no longer displays for that cell. I this a bug or is there a work around that I can use to display the tooltip even after editing the field.

Indeed, you are quite right - the behavior can be produced in our demos. We will investigate the issue and try to provide an appropriate solution for it. In the meantime, may you take a look at the sample attached and verify whether the suggested approach for implementation of ToolTip template selector ?
