[Solved] GridView Printing Problem with grouping

Hi,

currently I'm struggling with a problem when printing a GridView with grouped data.
On the first page printed everything is Ok.
All other pages are showing an empty group header.
In previous releases that worked already: Q3 2009 and Q1 2010!
After switching to the actual realease I got those empty group headers.

You can simply reproduce the issue with your online demo: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#GridView/Printing
Drag a column (e.g. Country) in the grouping area and then print it out!

It would be nice if you could deliver a fast workaround!?

thank you for your answer.
I'm started to track the progress of the issue.
If it takes longer I'm still interested in any kind of workaround.

On the other hand it would be nice if you could start thinking about a more
sophisticated approach of printing a data grid - not only producing a canvas.
What I mean is an item oriented approach like David Poll did:

Hi,

today I had a look at the C1 Silverlight DataGrid and their printing and
exporting capabilities.
I'm very much impressed.
There it is possible to have a really nice printed view even with grouped data.
No cuts within rows between pages ... and very fast. Not the canvas solution!
Could you give me an information if you are working on a better solution for grid printing?
This would help me to make a decision if I can wait for that.
Actually I have a Line Of Business application with the Telerik GridView already running for
several customers. Since the bug they demand to get the feature of printing a grouped grid
again very urgently.

Hi Andrew,

 We are working on revamping the GridView's export/print capability using the newly-introduced Telerik Document Model, which is currently only used by RadRichTextBox. However, this feature won't reach stable status before the end of the year.

 In the mean time, we are hard at work trying to fix the grouping issue with our current printing mechanism.
