[Solved] GridView cell selection issue

Hi,

I have a problem with row/cell selection with the last release. When I select a row, certain cell within that row is selected as well. But if I click somewhere inside the grid but not on a row (left column with indicator, or an empty space if the grid is larger than area covered with rows) last selected row stays selected, but the selected cell is one on position 1:1.

Also, is it possible to select the row without selecting the cell (cell selection is not in different color)?

Hi,

I would like to add that I am seeing a similar issue with multiple selection.  I have a custom cell template that I received from Telerik in one of my previous postings which eliminates the individual cell highlight.  When I select multiple rows and then select another single row the mouse over highlight is left on the first row that I clicked when making the multiple selection.  It doesn't clear until I move the mouse over the row that still has the stagnant hightlight.   Actually it is amusing because I can fill my whole grid with these ghost highlight rows as long as I don't mouse over them again.

Hi Zarko and Clint,

You could disable the cells selection color by overriding our default style. You can find more information on the topic here. 

With this week's Friday build we will eliminate the problem where you click on an indicator row and the very first cell becomes current/selected. Unfortunately we still haven't fix the problem when you click on an empty space.  We have also fixed the problem with mouse over.

The new Friday build should be available in a few hours.
