[Solved] grid's ClientTemplate not working inside tapstrip

I saw a problem on another thread, found on 8/10/2010 that explained that a grid's clienttemplates will not work if they are inside a tabstrip because the grid is evaluated too early.  I am currently using the 2010.2.825 version of the grid.  I saw a code fix in that thread and tried to apply it to the 825 source, just in case that bug wasn't addressed in that release, but the fix from the thread is in the 825 release.  So it would seem that something else is making my clienttemplates not work.  Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
