[Solved] Grid graphical cache

Hi,

I have a RadGridView with several differnet data columns (combo boxes, tick boxes, text boxes etc) in side a RadWindow. Sometimes when I open another RadWindow data inside the cells in my RadGridView dissapear.

However they re-appear if your scroll them out of view and then back in. So I'm guessing this is something to do with the grids temporary UI cache emptying for some reason - because the data is still there behind the scenes.

Have you ever come accross this?

Have you tried our latest Internal Build? It contains several fixes that might resolve the problem that you are experiencing.

I did yea; i'm running RadControls_for_Silverlight_4_2010_2_0917_DEV.

Seems to only happen on GridViewComboBoxColumns.

Just discovered if I turn ColumnVirtualization off the whole column blanks out - so I suspect this is a bug in the way GridViewComboBoxColumn maintains its cache.

Note: also appears in the major release (RadControls_for_Silverlight_4_2010_2_812) so I don't think its anything you have recently introduced.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the described problems. Could you send us a sample project or give us some more details about your application - how the GridViewComboBoxColumn is defined, is the same GridView placed in different RadWindows and any other specifics that might be related to the problems you have faced. To attach a sample project, you need to open a separate support ticket.
