Hi folks,
If I change the sorting of a column, expanded column groups will collapse.
I cannot reproduce the behaviour in the offical Telerik Demos.

Do you know a point of start why this happens? Thanks a lot!

I use the version: RadControls for Silverlight Q2 2013

Regards,
- Tobias

Hi Tobias,

Would you please share how have you setup your RadGridView? How do you expand the groups then - does the user expand them with the mouse or do you expand them in code?

Hi Didie,
this happens if the user clicks on the collapse / expand indicator of a grouped section.
If I expand all groups by code - the expanded groups stays expanded after sorting.

That's why I'm confused.

Thanks for your fast answer!

Hi,

I am not able to reproduce such an issue locally.

Please make sure you have set the same settings for RadGridView as done on the demo. What is the result if you test your solution with the latest binaries?

If you can still observe the problem, then would it be possible for you to isolate it in a demo project which I can debug locally? That way I can advise you further.

Hi,
I'll have a look at our local event chain and what differes between user's and code' actions.
I cannot test it with your latest binaries due to coding guidelines.

If I cannot fix it by myself, I will provide a simple demo application.

Thanks for your help!
