[Solved] Grid BatchEdit mode with Hierarchy via client detail template

I have a Grid in BatchEdit mode but are having difficulty in getting a Hierarchy client template to show within the 

.DetailView

section of the Grid code.

I can get a very basic DetailView to display but when I attempt to Use another Grid within It never seems to get called. For your reference I am using the ToHtmlString() within the second grid inside the .DetailView method.

Is this possible in Batch Edit mode, or only in "normal" Ajax mode?

Hello Mark,

 Does it work if you disable the editing? I guess this is some configuration problem. There is no restriction in using the popup editing mode with details view. Could you paste your code here?

I'm currently at work I'll post later, but I'm in InCell Edit mode not popup edit mode (Batch Edit), will this make a difference?

Hello Mark,

 I meant incell mode. Editing should work in master details cases no matter what the editing mode is.

It all ended up ok, you were correct and it was poor configuration. Plus a missing " which i just couldn't see !
