Hi,

I can't really tell what I have done, but all of a sudden Graphite does not show my project files anymore.

After starting Graphite I can select my project, but the Project Navigator stays empty.
Also, the Run-Menu has only one item "On device", but it is disabled.

I already re-installed Graphite, but to know success.

The only good and calming thing is: everything looks fine in Mist. So, my source codes are still there. Puh...:-)

Any ideas?

Thx
Ingmar

Hi Ingmar,

To continue working with Graphite I will suggest to export your project from Mist -> Dashboard -> My Projects.
1. While you hover over project list you will see small arrow button next to the project name.
2. From the .zip file drag your files in new project.

Can you share with us what connection you used when working with Graphite or anything else you may recall that may help us investigate that.
Please do not delete the first project after creating new one so we can investigate what went wrong with it.

Hi Jordan,

I'm really grateful for your fast support. Especially on a sunday evening. That's really great!

Ok, I followed your suggestion and now have a (new) working project again in Graphite.

For the "old" project, I really can't tell. I believe I might have deleted the app from my iPhone while it was hooked to my machine, but Graphite was closed. But I am really not sure. But I'm pretty sure I did something with my iPhone, because I had been working with Icenium for hours before and everything worked perfectly (running on device etc.).

So, I am afraid, but I am really not a good help. For now I am just happy that I can continue working with Graphite instead of Mist again.

Thanks again, Jordan

Hello Ingmar,

It sounds like Graphite's local cache got corrupted. Please delete the %AppData%/Local/Telerik/BlackDragon folder and try again. If the problem persists, please compress and send us the Logs folder in BlackDragon at support [at] icenium.com.

Hi Yavor,

and thanks so much for your help as well. Shouldn't you guys enjoy your sunday evening? ;-)

Here is what I did:

1. I closed Graphite.
2. I deleted the BlackDragon folder as suggested.
3. I opened Graphite again and picked the corrupted project.
4. Still no files in the Project Navigator.

So, I am going to send you my log files in a minute. Indeed he last log file reports an exception. Maybe this gives you an idea.

Greetings
Ingmar

Hello Ingmar,

Could you please tell me the name of the corrupted project so that I can try to load it locally and figure out what's wrong with it?

All the best,

Hi Yavor,

yes, sure.

The corrupted project is "CEOmobile".
"CEOmobile2" is working.

If you are finished reviewing, can you send me a short note, so I can delete the corrupted CEOmobile and rename CEOmobile2 to CEOMobile?

 Thank you very much!

Hi Ingmar,

We have identified the issue with your project. If you like, I can fix it for you so that you can continue working with it. Otherwise, you can just delete it and keep working with your new project.

However, be advised that renaming projects currently is not supported - you won't be able to rename your new project if you delete the old one.

Hi Yavor,

I'm glad you figured it out. Maybe an issue that helps you guys to improve Graphite?

Don't bother about the corrupted project though. I will delete it, create a new project with the same name and then transfer all sources from my working project. So, everything is fine!

Thank you very much for your help and effort!

Hi

I have the same issue. Even when I create a New Project NO FILES show up.
I have deleted the BLACKDRAGON folder uninstalled. Reinstalled. The project opened in MIST so I exported the Project. But even creating a new Project doesnt seem to work. So I cant add the exported project.

Please can you help me urgently. Thanks

Hi Dewet,

We need some more information in order to pinpoint the problem. Could you please run FiddlerCap (with the Decrypt HTTPS Traffic option enabled) before launching Graphite? This is a tool that will intercept the HTTP requests Graphite performs and give you the option to save them to disk. We will need the FiddlerCap capture and the Graphite logs located in %LocalAppData%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Logs.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and thank you for your cooperation.

Nikola

Hi De Wet,

It seems that your proxy is exhibiting an unusual behavior and is blocking Graphite from downloading some of its components. While we investigate the issue further, as a temporary workaround, could you try disabling your proxy and checking if you can access your project files?

Nikola

Hi Nikola

This seems to work. Strange that I can get the projects but not open them when under proxy.
But let me know if you found something else.

Thanks

Hi Dewet,

We need a bit more information about your network environment. Could you please tell me what proxy software you're using and how it's configured - are you behind a corporate proxy and is it configured under Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > Lan Settings > Proxy Server?

Hi,

Has Graphite worked previously under the same conditions?

We now know almost everything we need in order to diagnose and possibly remedy this issue. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi

Yes , I was under these settings the first day I started using Icenium and it was working fine. And then just all of a sudden it stopped working. I get the list of projects that I have created , but when I open them nothing appears.

There was an update in the meantime , but not sure if something was affected by the update.

Hi,

We've tried to replicate your network environment as best as we could - we deployed a Forefront server that authenticates against an AD domain and tried to run Graphite on a machine joined to the same domain. In our tests Graphite successfully impersonated the domain user and got through the proxy.

But if Graphite isn't able to impersonate the current user, you should get an authentication popup asking for credentials for the proxy.

Can you please go to Control Panel > Windows Vault and see if you have any credentials there under the IceniumGraphite_* key? If so, please delete them and try again.
