I haven't fully evaluated TeamPulse yet, but one need we have is to allow a specific user role to access the tool, but have more limited access within it.  We'd love to allow a client to directly enter new bugs or ideas, and view certain reports, but not have any access beyond that.  Or a project manager role may not require the same views as a developer.  I don't know whether the roles can map back to TFS's own groups and permissions or not--that may be even better.  TFS Web Access doesn't allow us this kind of fine-grained access control, either.  I know TeamPulse can't be all things to all people, but we'd love to consolidate our processes down to a single point of entry for the entire project team.

I'm not seeing these features within the hosted trial, and I'd love to see them in R2 or R3.

Hi Cory,

TeamPulse does not currently provide the ability to configure security for individual features of the application.  This is a feature that is currently in our backlog that we'll be sure to address in a future release.

Kind regards,
