Hi Zhang,

I guess the reason for the problem is that the path to the file in the project template got too long on your machine. Can you try the following steps, please?

  1. Close all Visual Studio instances
  2. Use Windows Explorer to check the following two folders for Telerik subfolders and delete them: %localappdata%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\Extensions
    [VisualStudioInstallDir]\Common7\IDE\Extensions
  3. Visit the Visual Studio Online Gallery and download the Telerik VSExtensions you prefer (MVC for the Telerik MVC UI Extensions, and any others) to a folder of your choice
  4. Start a Visual Studio 2010 Command Prompt As Administrator and navigate to the folder you downloaded the VSIX files to
  5. Run the following command for each package downloaded:
    vsixinstaller /a [TelerikVSIX_FileName.vsix]

This way you would get the Telerik MVC VSExtensions installed for all users on the machine and will avoid the potential problem of the path too long.

Let me know if that helped.
